Tuesday Night Cafe

Tuesday Night Project’s Tuesday Night Café (TNC) is one of the longest-running free arts & performance series in Downtown LA and is the oldest currently running Asian American open mic space in the country. 

Tuesday Night Project maintains through TNC a passionate, positive space with a focus on “art+community” and new original work from Asian American/Pacific Islander communities and the greater Los Angeles area.  The series runs on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month, spring through fall, and features a curated program of multidisciplinary visual and performing art in addition to an open mic section.

Sunday Jump

Sunday Jump is a community open mic series in Historic Filipinotown, Los Angeles. Every first Sunday, Sunday Jump provides a safe space for artists to express free speech and uplift their communities through the written and spoken word. The Sunday Jump's leaders are published poets and community activists who have shared their work across the nation.

VAALA

The Vietnamese American Arts & Letters Association (VAALA)'s mission is to connect and enrich communities through Vietnamese art and culture. VAALA collaborates with diverse community partners to organize numerous cultural events to connect and enrich communities. VAALA also produces programming and events including art exhibitions, book signings, music recitals, plays, and annual events such as the Viet Film Fest and Gallery Beyond Walls.
